COMIC-CON 2014: UNDER THE DOME
“Under the Dome” is broadening its scope.
At a Comic-Con panel Thursday, “Under the Dome” star Mike Vogel teased the possibility of some of the characters leaving the impenetrable dome that encompasses the town of Chester’s Mill, Maine, on the TV drama.
“A lot of people said, ‘How do you maintain a show under a dome year after year?'” he said. “They’ve come up with a really exciting and interesting way of broadening the scope of our world. I think everyone’s in for a real treat once that happens.”

Play Misty For Me – FLIXe
A psychotic woman stalks a California disc jockey with committment issues. Eventually, she resorts to murder in a bid to keep him to herself.

In this sequel, a special agent is sprung from jail by his boss to stop a devious plot to assassinate the president.
The Vow – FXX
A devoted husband (Channing Tatum) endeavors to win back his new bride’s heart after she loses her memory in a tragic car accident.
Land of the Dead – IFC
Writer-director George A. Romero’s chiller is set in an apocalyptic stronghold that is terrorized by a race of highly evolved flesh-eating zombies. Dennis Hopper, Simon Baker, John Leguizamo, Asia Argento (daughter of Italian horror filmmaker Dario Argento). Director and makeup whiz Tom Savini has a cameo as a machete-wielding zombie. Austin Powers In Goldmember – VH1
Austin (Mike Myers) boogies back to 1975 and teams up with a secret agent-disco singer (Beyonce Knowles) to rescue his abducted father in the raunchy third Powers romp, the most extravagant entry in the series yet. The opening credits feature cameos by a number of celebrities. Knowles’ screen debut. Myers also co-wrote the script and co-produced.

A former high-school basketball star (Matthew Perry) gets a second shot at life after he’s miraculously transformed back into a teenager. Back in high school, Mike O’Donnell was an MVP. Twenty years later, Mike’s life is falling apart when he’s suddenly transported back into his teenage body and he discovers that by trying to recapture his best years, he could risk losing it all.

James Bond (Daniel Craig) seeks to avenge betrayal by a loved one while trying to stop a renegade environmentalist from monopolizing the “world’s most precious [natural] resource.” Judi Dench returns as M, and Jeffrey Wright is again on board as CIA operative Felix Leiter. Two unemployed salesmen land internships at Google, and are forced to compete against a number of overachieving college students for jobs at the tech giant.
Kick-Ass 2 – MOMAX
Kick-Ass joins a team of costumed vigilantes led by Colonel Stars and Stripes, but the group are soon attacked by a supervillian seeking revenge for his father’s death. Meanwhile, Hit Girl emerges from retirement in order to save her old partner and defeat their nemesis.

I Was a Jet Set Stewardess – SMITH
A remembrance of the golden age of air travel, the 1960s, when pilots looked like movie stars and stewardesses came to personify the industry. The documentary also traces the evolution of the “air hostess”; explains why stewardesses became iconic figures for a generation; and delves into how the jet-set era unveiled new career horizons for women.

Set in London, this romantic comedy chronicles the affairs of several couples during Christmastime. The seemingly perfect wedding of Juliet and Peter brings many of the principals together, including heartsick best man Mark, who harbors a very unrequited crush on Juliet. There’s also recent widower Daniel, trying to help his lonely stepson Sam express his true feelings to a classmate. Across town, devoted working mother Karen tries to rekindle the passion of her husband.
Runaway Jury – TNT
Well-plotted legal thriller about a jury consultant (Gene Hackman) trying to influence a trial against a gun manufacturer. Dustin Hoffman plays a moral attorney; John Cusack is a juror. Adapted from a John Grisham bestseller. Early in their careers, Hackman and Hoffman shared a New York apartment; this is their first screen appearance together. This is Hackman’s third role in a screen adaptation of a Grisham novel; the others were “The Chamber” and “The Firm.”
Happy Gilmore – VH1
A tepid hockey player takes up tournament golf to raise cash for his grandmother, who is about to lose her house.

Synopsis:

COMIC-CON ’14: ’24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY’
When we last saw Kiefer Sutherland’s super-agent Jack Bauer on the July 14th finale of Fox’s 24: Live Another Day he was about to fly off into a very uncertain Moscow-based future. Today at Comic-Con, the actor said that “we went thorough so many ideas for that ending” and “on some level we copped out because on some level it is hard to end it.” Sutherland added that “we talked about that maybe for the DVD, we’ll have Jack take out a hand grenade and blow the Russian helicopter up — we’d never had that kind of freedom before. “ Sutherland was joined today by24 executive producer/director Jon Cassar, who moderated the panel.
